TeamProvidence now offers Providence Express Care Clinic, an urgent care clinic for non-life-threatening health problems. Providence Express Care Clinic is a convenient option when your regular physician is unable to offer a timely appointment or when illness occurs outside of regular office hours. No appointment is necessary. Most insurance is accepted, and in many instances you will only pay your regular co-pay.

Gregory A. Newman, DO

Dr. Newman comes to Providence after eight years at Rettig Family Health Care in Groesbeck. He has served as Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, as well as serving on the Medicine Committee at Parkview Regional Hospital since 2009. Prior to that, he served three years as an independent physician for inpatient and urgent care in Tennessee. Dr. Newman received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio prior to graduating as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine University of North Texas Health Science Center at Ft. Worth. He completed his residency at East Tennessee State University College of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident from 2004-2005. Dr. Newman serves patients ranging from newborn to geriatrics with extensive experience in caring for pediatrics.



Naomi Warren, FNP-BC

Naomi received her undergraduate degrees from Arkansas State University and University of Texas at Arlington prior to attending Texas Woman’s University where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing. She later earned certification as Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. Naomi comes to Providence from Sandhills Family Clinic in Monahans, TX. She has a passion for teaching patients and their families about the treatment of illness and promoting good health for the future.
